Advanced Leadership for Academics and Professionals
- Assistant Directors and above
- Yearlong series focused on recognized leadership competencies to prepare UF leaders for the future
- Assessments, seminars, access to leaders at UF
Emerging Leader: UF Academy
- Individual contributors (exempt) to Assistant Director
- Yearlong series, exposure to key UF processes and personnel
- Preparing new leaders for development at UF
Managing at UF: The Supervisory Challenge
- Certificate program for new and emerging managers at UF
- Core courses and electives, available at no charge to faculty and staff
- Open-ended timeframe to work with variety of team-member development plans
Pro3 Series: Developing Competencies for UF Financial, HR, and Academic Support Administrators
- Certificate programs (3) for team members in key administrative professional roles on campus
- 3 tracks: Fiscal Management, HR/Payroll, and Academic Department Support
- Competency model used to ensure learning is focused on key knowledge, skills, and abilities of these complex support functions
myUFL Systems Training
- Computer training on key myUFL (PeopleSoft) systems functions, delivered by subject matter experts who know and use the systems and processes
- myUFL Toolkits include Instruction guides and simulations to support key system processes
e-learning
- Ideal for employees whose time limitations may prevent them from attending in-classroom training and/or for those who prefer self-paced learning
- Currently includes several courses from Pro3 Series and myUFL systems training

- New Employee Orientation—An online resource that introduces the university’s benefit programs
- Benefits Tutorial—An online resource that introduces the university’s benefit programs
- Benefits Enrollment for Faculty and Staff—For new faculty and staff to learn about and enroll in available benefits
- Sexual Harassment —All faculty and staff are expected to complete an online training to help ensure the university is a safe place in which to work and learn
