UF EAP offers telehealth counseling when you need it

As an alternative to traditional face-to-face counseling, UF’s Employee Assistance Program offers video, telephone and online chat options that are especially beneficial during these times. If you or a member of your household needs someone to talk to, you can access services 24/7 by calling the UF EAP’s toll-free number, (833) 306-0103, or by visiting guidanceresources.com. If it is your first time visiting the website, click on the “Register” tab and enter UF’s Web ID: UFEAP.

All UF faculty and staff as well as anyone who lives with them are entitled to up to six visits per person, per household, per event each calendar year. Please note that even if you have contacted the EAP already in 2020 for another reason, any issue related to the current pandemic may be considered a separate event, granting you and others six new sessions each, as needed.

If you are experiencing distress for any reason, meeting with a counselor online or by phone can help provide you with much-needed support and guidance, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

While the UF EAP is an outsourced provider and separate from the University of Florida to ensure your confidentiality, should you have any feedback you would like to share with us about your experience, you can complete our feedback form anonymously by visiting the EAP website. You are also welcome to share your contact information if you would like to speak to someone from our team.
